The World Rowing Masters Regatta 2023 has been awarded to South Africa and will take place in September 2023 at Roodeplaat Dam in Tshwane (previously Pretoria). Our vision is to deliver a world-class regatta that is profoundly African and leaves a legacy for South African rowing and the local community. The Regatta

We are excited to host the 2023 World Masters Regatta – the first world rowing event in Africa!

FLYING TO SOUTH AFRICA
Flight times vary depending on where you are coming from. Most flights are at night, so you climb on the plane, enjoy a book or a movie and before you know it, you wake up in beautiful South Africa. The flight is part of the fun!

GETTING AROUND
From the World Rowing Masters 2023 Welcome Desk at Oliver Tambo International Airport, through to shuttles to and from your hotel, we will have you covered!

BOATS HIRE
We will be offering a boat rental service. We expect several international boat manufacturers to bring fleets to the regatta, and we will also have local rowing fleets available for rental.
